(1) Polypropylene housing with cellulose acetate membrane 4 mm in diameter For small volumes, little dead space (10 µl). For all aqueous media, membrane with little protein bonding. Autoclavable, non-sterile.
(2) Polypropylene housing with nylon membrane 4 mm in diameter For small volumes, little dead space (10 µl). Specially for solvents and DMSO, e.g. in the HPLC sector. Autoclavable, non-sterile.
(3) Acrylic housing with polyethersulfone (PES) membrane 13 mm in diameter The universal tissue culture membrane. Offers higher flow rates, lower protein binding and lower extractables than competitive cellulosic membranes. Inherently hydrophilic; contains no external wetting agents. Sample volume size: 2 – 10 ml. Inlet: Female Luer-Lok; Outlet: Male Luer slip. Certified sterile, non-cytotoxic and non-pyrogenic. Sterile, not autoclavable.
(4) Polypropylene housing with PTFE membrane 13 mm in diameter For filtration of aggressive chemicals, including acids and non-aqueous solvents, such as those used in GC and HPLC. For filtration of air and gases. Wet membrane with alcohol before use with aqueous solutions. Inlet: Female Luer-Lok; Outlet: Male Luer slip. Non-sterile, autoclavable.
