Laboratory microwave units These microwave units are optimized for use in the laboratory. Unlike household equipment the power is generated continually and not by simply switching off the magnetron. This therefore permits more uniform heating especially for lower levels of power.
Exhaust air outlet The exhaust air is removed via an air outlet fitting which can be connected to an air extractor.
Optimized power control The power is infinitely adjustable between 0 to 600 Watts and is radiated evenly without cycle interruptions. The material being heated is therefore heated very evenly and there is no risk of overheating. The heating time can be set to for up to 99 minutes with the digital stopwatch.
Media fittings 2 hole connections are included for attaching hoses for feeding in media, extractions, cooling agents, application of gas to the sample, etc.
External setpoint value The power of the microwave device can be regulated by an external setpoint value of 0 – 10V.
Magnetic mixer (optional) As an alternative to the rotating plate for several samples a magnetic mixer can also be fitted. This enables the material being heated in the middle of the microwave device to be mixed during heating at the same time. The adjustable speed range of the mixer is 50 to 1200 rpm.
Temperature control (optional) As an alternative to the power controller a temperature controller can also be fitted in the form of a submersible sensor. The sensor is inserted in the sample from above. The controller permits programmable temperature profiles to be run and a serial interface permits communication with a PC.
