General features:
Robust, scratch-resistant housing made by ourselves: "Quality made in Germany". The interior is made of impact-resistant synthetic with moulded supports (undercounter models) or smooth aluminium with a protective coating with height-adjustable support rails (for all stand-alone models of 280 l cooling volume and up). The insulation consists of premium-quality environmentally friendly material. The units have lockable doors with hinges that can be changed. The temperature regulation controlled by microprocessor allows for accurate temperature control with safety functions in case of fault. The control is protected with a key switch against manipulation and equipped with a digital display and a minimum/maximum temperature memory. Furthermore, the KIRSCH cooling units have a USB connection for manual data acquisition with the free KIRSCH-DATANET software (only with PRO-ACTIVE) and a floating contact for forwarding alarms. The KIRSCH forced-air cooling provides for even temperature distribution and thus for a uniform storage temperature in the entire refrigeration space. Forced-air cooling is optimized for every model and consists of an individually adjusted combination of blower and ventilation plate.

LABEX® – for your safety
Laboratory refrigerators and freezers with explosion-proof interior (LABEX® and FROSTER-LABEX® models) meet the most challenging quality standards and safety requirements. The design safety has been tested by TÜV SÜD to Directive 2014/34/EU. A test report describes the KIRSCH LABEX® safety concept and makes the LABEX® refrigerators and freezers the safest explosion-proof frosters on the market. In the LABEX® models of the PRO-ACTIVE series, safety barriers provide additional safety for the temperature sensors. The interior is made of conductive materials, the integrated circulating-air fans are explosion protected (except for ESSENTIAL FROSTER LABEX 71, FROSTER LABEX 96 PRO-ACTIVE, LABEX 105 PRO-ACTIVE)
